Help Make Rehearsals Happen
JOIN OUR VOLUNTEER TEAM!
Our chorus doesn’t run on music alone. Behind every rehearsal and concert is a small group of volunteers who help create the welcoming, organized environment that allows us to sing together.
If you’d like to support the chorus in a practical, meaningful way, we’d love to have you join our volunteer team. Whether you’re setting up Zoom, arranging chairs, or organizing snacks, your time and care make a real difference.
Ways to get involved:
ZOOM SETUP & SUPPORT
Zoom behaves better with supervision
Arrive early, before the 6:30 PM rehearsal start time, to set up Zoom for members who are unable to attend in person. Responsibilities include logging into the chorus Zoom account on a provided laptop, connecting equipment, and troubleshooting any technical issues that may arise during rehearsal.
SNACK COORDINATOR
No great rehearsal runs on an empty stomach
Help organize snacks for members to enjoy during the rehearsal break. Responsibilities include coordinating snacks brought by members, setting up the snacks before the break, and cleaning up the snack table after rehearsal. The coordinator also needs to be certain that snacks are nut-free because one of our members is highly allergic.
CHAIR SETUP
Chairs don’t arrange themselves
Arrive early, before the 6:30 PM rehearsal start time, to help set up chairs. On some evenings, this may require arriving early, before 6:00 PM, for section rehearsals.
